Procedure & Most Important Facts
1) Find an Internship Institution
- The institution provides a supervising researcher with diploma/M.Sc./M.A. or equivalent university degrees
- The institution deals with early childhood research
- The internship should only partly contain help- and routine work
- See List of Previous Internship Institutions for suggestions
2) Submit the Internship Agreement
- The student submits the Internship Agreement in paper form to the internship coordinator
- The internship coordinator reviews the institution and gives approval
3) Internship
- The scope of the internship are 225 hours (min. 6 weeks: 37.5h/week)
- The internship can be done after the examination period of the 1st semester and should be completed before the registration of the master thesis
4) Submit Internship Report & Institution’s Confirmation & Informed Consent
- Not later than 4 weeks after the internship the student submits the internship report, an internship confirmation of the institution and the completed form Informed Consent in paper form to the internship coordinator
- The internship report consists of 5-10 pages (Arial/Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing). In the report the student documents and reflects on the internship, her/his learning processes, acquired skills and how to apply these skills in further studies. Please use the provided template: Internship Report.
- The internship report is signed by the student
5) Official pass of module M6
