The LFE in numbers

Since the foundation of the Leipzig Research Center for Early Child development in November 2015, a lot of progress has been made. But we do not wish to stop there. We are still curious and always looking for children willing to take part in exciting games, and for nurseries and schools in which our studies can take place, for new children to sign up with us and for new members of our center. But have a look yourself:

The Leipzig Research Center for Early Child Development aims to concentrate and expand its existing research focus in Developmental Psychology.
To this end we are collaborating with the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences and University Hospital Leipzig on several projects.
On a practical level we have partnered together with numerous nurseries and day care centers, as well as parents and their children in and around Leipzig.
We are in touch with partner institutions e.g. in Namibia, Sambia and Indonesia in facilitating cross-cultural and comparative, inter-species, approaches.
The increasing membership of our center is enabling a growing number of partnerships worldwide.
