Members of the Leipzig Research Center for Early Child Development are scientists from different disciplines whose work adds to our understanding of early child development and such contributes to the research and teaching profile of the LFE and its promotion of junior researchers in this area. Members of the LFE participate in diverse regular events and meet once a year for a members’ assembly in Leipzig.
Regular Membership
A written application for regular membership can be submitted based on the following admission criteria:
(1) Relevant academic degree (master’s degree or an equivalent degree) (masters level); (2) Relevant scientific qualification, generally proven by an ongoing or completed Ph.D. thesis in the field of early childhood research; (3) Active scientific work in the field of early childhood research, generally proven by relevant scientific publications; (4) willingness to participate in the research activities of the LFE and regular attendance at events of the LFE and members’ general meetings.
The executive board of the LFE reviews all membership applications and decides on the admissions. Additionally to the application for membership, new members can be invited by the executive board. The admission criteria apply respectively.
Regular members must be affiliated with the University of Leipzig. Associated membership is possible for researchers outside of Leipzig University.
